SHE’S FOUR!! Last week we celebrated my sweet baby girl, Esme’s 4th birthday and honestly I know it sounds so cliche, but why is time passing us by so quickly?! It seems like yesterday she was just born, and now I have this sassy, independent, feisty 4 year old. My heart literally hurts and at the same time bursts with honor to be able to witness her growth.
We were lucky enough to be able to spend a few days at Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA and spent such amazing quality time as a family. Aquatopia, the USA’s #1 indoor waterpark is full of wild slides, rides and cozy cabanas to enjoy your day. Best part about it is, the tickets are included in your overnight stay for BOTH days. After a fun filled day at Aquatopia, we went to Trail’s End Pub & Grill for dinner where we enjoyed some delicious Buffalo wings and Buffalo Mac n’ Cheese! Before bed, we made our way over to the 2 floor Arcadia Arcade with a bunch of video games, rides and prizes suitable for the whole family! After that, it was time for bed because Mom & Dad were exhausted!
The next morning, we visited La Colombe’s Coffee Bar for a grab and go breakfast so we could check out the outdoor waterpark, Camelbeach. It was a beautiful day out and perfect for some outdoor fun. The lazy river was our first stop and from there we made our way to the wave pool. Needless to say there was an abundance of activities, slides and fun in the water. Best part (for moms & dads, lol) was the taco and beer trucks they had outdoors!! We decided on the pulled pork and flank steak street style tacos and they were sooo good.
Everywhere we turned the staff was doing something special for my girl on her birthday and she felt like a real life princess. The Camelback Resort Team went above and beyond to assure our stay was nothing short of perfect and we will definitely be back!
